The annual Crow Island STEAM Expo allows our students a chance to explore their interests in science, technology, engineering, and math. The arts/design thinking will be integrated throughout. Participation is optional, but we find that the majority of our 2nd-4th grade students choose to join in the fun.

STEAM Expo Projects & Registration:
- Register HERE using this Google Form
- Students are to be the primary owner of their project. They have the ability to execute these projects on their own. Students are naturally curious and creative.
- PLEASE REFRAIN FROM DOING THE PROJECT FOR YOUR CHILD.
- Each project should start with a question that needs an answer or a problem that needs a solution.
- SCIENCE: Ask a question and the project answers that question (experiment or research)
- ENGINEERING: Think of a problem and the project provides a solution (your own engineering challenge, the 2019 Engineering Challenge, or research)
- MATH: Ask a question and the project explores/answers the question
- TECHNOLOGY: Think of a problem or goal and design a solution (coding project)
- Our STEAM Expo VALUES PROCESS OVER PRODUCT
- Students will be thinking, asking, discovering, and creating in their own individual ways and their final products will reflect that.
- All students will work on projects individually. No partners this year.

What are the STEAM Expo Guidelines?
- Please take the time to read the guideline details! Click here for the 2022 STEAM Expo Guidelines and Details
- The guidelines have been put in place to assure we have a safe and successful Expo. In the past, we have had students disappointed because their projects did not follow the proper guidelines and therefore, could not be displayed in their entirety.
