District 36 Strategic Plan and Portrait of a Graduate

The Winnetka Public Schools community has shared a deep commitment to Progressive Education for over 100 years. Our School Board, administrators, and staff are honored to continue our history of excellence by cultivating rich experiential learning opportunities and fostering the academic and social and emotional skills that our students need to thrive now and into the future. To further advance this important work, the District embarked on an ambitious Strategic Planning process starting in March 2020 with the involvement of over two-thousand contributors representing students, staff, parents, community members, and alumni. One of the results of this process is the District’s Portrait of a Graduate:

Orders can be placed until June 12, 2022 by clicking HERE and using the following school code: CRO020 (letters C, R and O followed by zero, two and zero).

If you wish to purchase supplies independently, a copy of the supply lists can be found HERE.

This online directory app (available for iOS and Android users) contains contact information for all five D36 schools. The directory also contains often-requested information about the school, such as school hours and a school calendar. If you encounter problems, please contact Sarah Sims at Sarah.Sims@me.com.
