This event has been postponed due to COVID-19. The hope is that this will be rescheduled for the spring.
The Annual Crow Island Run-a-thon is one of the PTO’s largest fundraising events of the year and is a school tradition dating back to 1985. During Run-a-thon, kids are encouraged to run or walk 30 laps around an assigned track. In the week leading up, kids request donations from family and friends to support their participation in Run-a-thon. A portion of the proceeds will benefit the Misericordia Special Olympics Track & Field Team. Donation forms for students are sent home in students’ backpacks around the time of the event.
This outdoor event engages the Crow Island community in a common goal around developing a healthy & active lifestyle while supporting the PTO along with a local charity.
